I have approx 300GB of media files on the LaCie to transfer, so using the GoFlex internet upload utility is out of the question - unless I want to lose my sanity. I don't have this problem with the LaCie, but they both run Hipserv administration software. I just get an error message saying I do not have the right privileges to perform the action. The main issue is that the GoFlex drive will not allow dragging and dropping files to it from Finder. This download page provides a way to recover it if the software was deleted.
